When you’re prompted to confirm your action, click on. Click on Turn on next to the Recovery key option to continue. In this section, you’ll find the Recovery Key option below Trusted phone numbers. Now, click on Password & Security from the left pane. Select the storage device that contains the operating system. Click on the Apple ID option located at the top-right corner as shown below. A welcoming graphical window will appear, allowing you to reset your admin password in a familiar way. To recover encrypted files from a USB drive on a Mac: Download and install Disk Drill for Mac. Type resetpassword in the Terminal window and hit enter. Click Recover and pick a suitable recovery location. Preview & select the files you want to recover. Launch Disk Drill and scan the USB drive. Connect the USB drive to your PC and unlock it.
